miss.amanda@stoneybrookdance.com Miss Amanda is delighted to be part of the SBDC staff. She has been teaching at SBDC since 2004. Miss Amanda received her dance training through the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and after high school, completed their 3-year Teachers Training Program with the Professional Division. She has studied all levels of the Cecchetti syllabus and has taken classes in Vaganova Ballet, Modern Dance, Anatomy, Pilates, Nutrition, Music & Art History. For the past 9 years Miss Amanda has been teaching ballet, jazz & tap, preparing students for Cecchetti ballet exams as well as A.D.A.P.T. jazz & tap exams . She holds both an Associate Certificate (Cecchetti branch) and an Applied Anatomy Certificate with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. Miss Amanda has completed her Advanced 1 Cecchetti, Intermediate R.A.D., Intermediate 1 A.D.A.P.T. Jazz and Intermediate 3 A.D.A.P.T. Tap exams. In July 2006, Miss Amanda completed year one of the A.D.A.P.T. Teacher Training School. Miss Amanda is excited to work with SBDC students for another dance season! |
